Hard to get has never once worked on me. I guess if you are dating the types of guys who would play games with your head, you should go ahead and also play games with their head. I imagine that works.
BUT - I am sort of a socially unaware gentleman myself, and also a nice guy who has no interest in playing games with a lady’s head. I try to be direct about my feelings and intentions as much as possible. So unless I’m terribly confused by a situation, which to be fair does often happen, I tend to just put it on the table and see what happens.Â
Honestly, I think you’d be surprised at how much farther “Hey, I really like hanging out with you. You should let me take you on a date” can go than being coy and teasing the situation. You’d be really amazed at how effective saying something like “I’m not sure if this is where your head is at too, but I keep thinking about how it would be fun to make out with you” can be
